What is Polatuzumab Vedotin-piiq Injection used for?

  • Polatuzumab vedotin-piiq Injection is approved to treat: Diffuse large B-cell lymphoma in adults whose cancer has relapsed or has not gotten better after at least two other therapies. It is used with bendamustine hydrochloride and rituximab.

    DRUG INTERACTIONS

    Concomitant use of strong CYP3A inhibitors or inducers has the potential to affect the exposure to unconjugated monomethyl auristatin E (MMAE).

     DOSAGE

     The recommended dose of POLIVY is 1.8 mg/kg as an intravenous infusion over 90 minutes every 21 days for 6 cycles in combination with bendamustine and a rituximab product. Subsequent infusions may be administered over 30 minutes if the previous infusion is tolerated. 
    • Premedicate with an antihistamine and antipyretic before POLIVY.
