Fam-trastuzumab Deruxtecan-nxki Injection 100 mg

STORAGE AND HANDLING

This Injection must be refrigerated at 2°C to 8°C (36°F to 46°F). Do not use the Fam-trastuzumab Deruxtecan-nxki Injection beyond the expiration date located on the carton and the vial.

SIDE EFFECTS

The following clinically significant adverse reactions can occur with Fam-trastuzumab Deruxtecan-nxki Injection: Cardiovascular Toxicity, Myelosuppression, Hypersensitivity, Hypertension, Pancreatic Toxicity.

DOSAGE

• Do not substitute ENHERTU for or with trastuzumab or adotrastuzumab emtansine. 

• For intravenous infusion only. Do not administer as an intravenous push or bolus. Do not use Sodium Chloride Injection, USP.

• The recommended dosage of ENHERTU for breast cancer is 5.4 mg/kg given as an intravenous infusion once every 3 weeks  day cycle) until disease progression or unacceptable toxicity. 

• The recommended dosage of ENHERTU for gastric cancer is  6.4 mg/kg given as an intravenous infusion once every 3 weeks  day cycle) until disease progression or unacceptable toxicity. 

• Management of adverse reactions (ILD, neutropenia, thrombocytopenia, or left ventricular dysfunction) may require temporary interruption, dose reduction, or discontinuation of ENHERTU.

WARNINGS AND PRECAUTIONS

  • Genetic testing should be indicated in order to detect whether a person is at higher risk of developing hypersensitivity.
  • Fam-trastuzumab Deruxtecan-nxki Injection may not be added as a single agent when antiretroviral regimens are changed because of loss of the virologic response.
  • Patients with liver disease should be watchful and cautious in order to Fam-trastuzumab Deruxtecan-nxki Injection because it can aggravate the condition.
  • In patients with Fam-trastuzumab Deruxtecan-nxki Injection, conditions like immune reconstitution inflammatory syndrome, a change in body fat as well as an increased risk of heart attack may occur.
  • Fam-trastuzumab Deruxtecan-nxki Injection is not recommended for use in infants who are under 3 months of age.
  • Cases like lactic acidosis and severe hepatomegaly with steatosis occurred with the use of nucleoside analogues.
  • Sometimes serious hypersensitivity reactions have been associated with Fam-trastuzumab Deruxtecan-nxki Injection.
